Oh, I wasn't aware of that. But, looking through /usr/openwin on a Solaris
machine
over here, i can find no API whatsoever for getting Xinerama info on the
client side.

Yes, my patch already does this. And I guess according to my findings above,
my patch would simply treat Solaris machines as not Xinerama enabled.
