I do not believe this is possible.  Here will build the glib/gtk+
libraries every day via automated script in a controlled environment.
We did our CVS pull at this time:

  Fri Jun 22 03:46:01 GMT 2001

and we build glib before building gtk.  Was the glib/gtk+ code out of
sync at this time?
