Do you meant to write gtk_widget_get_colormap() ?? I can't find a
function called gtk_preview_get_colormap() in the gimp nor in the
GTK+ source.

Anyway, I think we fixed most of the code that used colormaps etc.
wrongly in GIMP head and in any case you shouldn't leave any 
compatibility crap in for The GIMP. Just ask us to change the GIMP 
source.
