1. Create the window wiget..
2. Create a pixmap
3. set the pixmat to widget (window) background with
     widget->style->bg_pixmap[0] = pixmap
4. Add a GtkTable or GtkBox in that window..
5. Place the objects in it with some border values, if so
   background image will be visible.
