It isn't ready for inclusion. There are a couple of things that would
have to be done before it could be considered for inclusion:

 - There would have to be a DirectFB release that can be used. At the
   moment the gdk-directfb code in CVS depends on DirectFB API that is
   only available from CVS.

 - The gdk-directfb code would have to be ported to gtk+-2.6. At the
   moment it has only been updated with gtk+-2.4 and even for this
   version there are still a couple of outstanding problems which
   would have to be addressed first.
