When browsing with Epiphany, I noted a slight delay between pressing a
key in the URL entry and displaying the popup window. Other browsers
(FF, IE) don't show that behavior and therefore appear to be a lot more
snappy than Ephy to that respect.
But it's obviously not Ephys fault, GtkEntry/GtkEntryCompletion seems to
have set a timeout of 300 ms in gtkentry.c (COMPLETION_TIMEOUT). Is
there any particular reason that this has been added? If yes, is there
any chance that there might be a setter for this timeout in GTK+ 2.6?
regs,
Chris
