EggIconChooser => GTK+?

Any chances that EggIconChooser (CVS: libegg/libegg/iconchooser) will
make it into GTK+ 2.8? It seems to depend on eggpixbufthumbnail and
eggthumbnailpreview, and I'm unable to run it, but I saw some
screenshots and must say this really beats the libgnomeui icon selector.
It nicely intgerates with GtkFileChooser.
