I've been optimizing GDK-DirectFB on an RGB16 display and found that
some surfaces were still created as ARGB while they could have been RGB16.
Moving RGB16 to the top of supported formats solved the issue without
impact. I did not investigate further what it could mean for ARGB displays,
probably should have marked that patch as a hack, too.

Can someone explain the visual selection or why at all it makes a difference
what is at the top? Does it just pick the first, assuming the first is the
ultimatively compatible one?
