This way, we would avoid the less than intuitive situation where
sessions store applications, rather than documents.
One possible extension to this is that in the future, the Gnome desktop
could support a fourth option (in addition to close, maximize,
minimize), namely iconify. Iconfied windows could represent a persistent
link to whatever documents the user was editing last, resulting in
dynamic session management.
Anyway, I'm new to communicating with the Gnome project, please let
me know if I'm posting in the wrong place.
