On a similar note; we should ensure that the desktop launces totem if
you click the icon representing the GMount for a disc that is a DVD
Movie. Similar for e.g. f-spot if the GMount represents a card with
photos (DCIM/) or a camera (gphoto2 backend). In the extreme at least.

(Personally, I'd prefer the file manager was launched for any of these
with a Blue bar in the top (like we have for trash:// and burn://)
telling me I should use these apps and providing a Launch button for
them)

I think my main point is that this discussion mixes GNOME Desktop user
experience and IO paths. I'm only proposing cdda:// for the IO path.
And, frankly, gio/gvfs is so cool that we want other desktops (with
different ideas of user experience) to use it too.
