You mean you can display Chinese text that you have in your own code?
No, that has then nothing to do with gettext. Does the GTK+ color
selector in the gtk-demo.exe you built, for instance, display its text
strings in Chinese if you are in a Chinese locale? (Or if you set the
"LANG" environment variable to "zh_CH" or "zh_TW"?)
