Oh yes, of course. I just doubt that while searching for signals,
people would necessarily read the Description section of the parent
widget (which would explain why some of them are not available in
specific child widgets).
Maybe it would be worth it to include "only available for widgets with
gdkwindows" to all -event signals. Or better yet, some system to list
(meaningful) derived properties of an object (signals, properties) in
the documentation.
