reg - USB and Ethernet performance open source utility

I am Sarahana, working in an embedded product concern based on linux, i wish to have an utility to check the performance of both USB and Ethernet, thing is that i have to cross compile the code for my device, if you have any such open source utility, if not can you please suggest me to go through, i would be thankful to you.
