As detailed in the previous irc meeting: there will be a 2.22 release only for deprecations and missing accessors that did not make the 2.20 deadline. 2.22 will also be the last maintained 2.* release.

2.90 is what will become 3.0.

I am confused. Will there be a GTK+ 2.22? If so, what git branch is
aiming for that? Is GTK+ 2.90 meant to become GTK+ 3.0?
