GTK button does not register consecutive clicks

Hi,

We have been using GTK+ 2.4.13 (gtk2-devel-2.10.4) on CentOS 4.8, 64-bit. We designed a window application with a toolbar. It was found that if a button (for example, ZOOM button) was clicked once, the button registers the click but does not allow clicking again. The mouse pointer has to be moved out of the button and then taken over the button again. Only then the button regains focus and allows clicking.

Please let us know if it is a known bug of GTK+ and if so, if any fix is available. 

This is a very critical issue for us. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.
