Bug 677329 - Missing focus-in events

Hi,

I would like to bump #677329 - "Missing focus-in events" to get the
attention of someone familiar with the code.

To summarize the bug:
Something about certain window managers and the use of xinput2 rather
than core events causes GTK3 applications to track the focus of windows
incorrectly. Specifically, it doesn't track the focus-in events
correctly.

The bug is 100% reproducible. I can provide any more information that is
required.
