Now 2013 year and glib has undergone many changes.
I created new patch

Christian patch) and I want you to write review.
I think that this patch is very important as bug in empathy depends of
this bug.
Hey, thanks for working on this, I hope it will find a reviewer soon.
I have some doubts about the importance argument though - empathy can
easily (and arguably should) do its own escaping...
