Interesting. I'm in favor of Markdown. But does gtk-doc understand it at
all?
yes, it does parse Markdown, and has for a while (it's also under
regression testing).
I've been meaning to port the documentation of the libraries I
maintain from docbook to markdown for a while, but haven't come around
doing it — always something else getting bumped up in the priority
queue. :-)
