Peut-etre parce que ca s'ecrit "licence" en anglais aussi.
(Sorry couldn't resist - licence is also the British English spelling)

Thanks. "Yeti" pointed this out in the bugzilla report. I'm a bit

confused and sorry. I didn't recall the rule that the verb takes

and (s) and the noun takes a (c)... I won't forget that now :-)
