    Thank you for the response.  I tried ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/tutorial
however ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/ at least to me looks like:

Current directory is /pub

Up to higher level directory

  users/                               Fri Apr  7 00:00:00 2000 Directory

There is a turorial directory in gtk/
ie: ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/tutorial/

However that is the version which has what looks like mangled HTML
where I would expect to see an PS encoded image.  Any pointers
much appreciated.
