can GTK application be used in IPAQ linux pda

Dear all,

	I am a begineer in developing linux software for embedded linux.
I  want to know can a application using GTK library can be used in the
ipaq (familiar installed)? And if it can, how can i test it and what
should installed to the ipaq before i installed the application  software?
