I had a look at jade, and it doesn't seem to support 'sgml-raw'.
So I've added a SGML_FORMAT_TYPE variable which is set in configure.in,
set to 'sgml-raw' if we find openjade, else 'sgml'. Hopefully that
should be OK.
I'm going to release 1.0 right now.
