Since Debian has not yet completed their "xml-base" package (which is
what they apparently need to finish before they can provide XML
catalogs), I wrote up a small script that can generate a passable
catalog to build DocBook based documentation.
If you have the docbook-xml and docbook-xsl packages installed, run the
following script as root:
http://www.daa.com.au/~james/files/build-xml-catalog-for-debian.sh
That should get the system into a state where (a) gtk-doc will configure
and make, (b) packages using gtk-doc to build documentation will be able
to build without downloading lots of stuff over the network.
Comments are welcome.
James.
