I think it looks mostly okay now. Still have some trouble with getting make
distcheck to work though.

I also run a full jhbuild and have lots of gtk-doc books generated. So at least
it does not terminate builds. I'll rerun the build, redirect logs and try
greping for perl warnings.

If nothing else pops up, I'd say ready for release.
