hehe... and I -thought- changing the colors should work... and I
-thought- mucking with the draw_string funciton pointer would work.
Still haven't gotten an answer to that one... (anyone? anyone? anyone?

Someone (Andy Lovell, now that I look in my inbox) sent me a patch
that does just that... we have some internal gtk+ packages with the
patch, and I just finished testing it.

The only problem I have with it is that the cursor moves... well, it
doesn't show up, unless you focus out of the window then back in.
That should be easy to fix... I hope. :)

I'm just about e-mail him (of course, he's reading this right
now...:) to see if he minded if I submitted the patch (slight
modified, probably) to the "real" gtk+.

There have been list problems in the past... most often resulting in
people being bumped off the list.  Try unsubscribing and
resubscribing...
