GTK signals

Hi all,

I have only one question...

I created a GtkTree... Connected signals "expand" & "collapse" to GtkTreeItem...
And in some moment I need to disconnect them from callbacks.
I did it using gtk_disconnect().

But when I try to call gtk_tree_item_expand() my callbacks called...
What happend? I disconnected them!!! Or I misunderstood a GTK concept
of signals? And what is the difference in signals concept in Qt and GTK?
