hm, so GTK_PROGRESS_CONTINUOUS is meant to be the same as
GTK_PROGRESS_CONTINUOUS with only one state?
i'm not sure why you need to especially state the mode for
the progress widget then, i'd rather see
void gtk_progress_bar_update (GtkProgressBar *pbar,
gfloat percentage);
to be an alias for something like
void gtk_progress_bar_update_bar (GtkProgressBar *pbar,
guint bar,
gfloat percentage);
like so:
void
gtk_progress_bar_update (GtkProgressBar *pbar,
gfloat percentage)
{
g_return_if_fail (pbar != NULL);
g_return_if_fail (GTK_IS_PROGRESS_BAR (pbar));
gtk_progress_bar_update_bar (pbar, 0, percentage);
}
and have the progress widget dynamically allocate new bars.
