Re: [gtk-list] gtk+-0.99.4: compile/"make"-problems




I'm not sure how configure figures out where the X11 include files
are, but it seems to query xmkmf stuff somehow.  Make sure that
the X11 bins are in your path variable.  (/usr/X11R6/bin usually)

Once xmkmf is in your path, remove config.cache and try to run
configure again.  Watch for something like this:

checking for X... libraries /usr/X11R6/lib, headers /usr/X11R6/include

When I removed xmkmf from my path, headers just ended up empty.
