Just tried it, it behaves correctly for backspace (delete previous) and delete
(delete next). Hmm,
maybe your x simply isn't generating the right keysyms ? Just for refs, you
may want to state what
kind od system you're using/compiling on, and just for refs, I use gtk0.99.8
under X11R5PL27 on
Solaris 2.5, gtk compiled with gcc2.7.2
