The main work for a canvas widget would be to create a gtk-object hierarchy for
the elements of the canvas. They should be moveable, able to PS-print
themselves, maybe use server side pixmaps and so on. They could be added to any
container but most useable would be the gtk_fixed container ... I experimented
myself with some code snippets but after the annoncement of Federico Mena maybe
it is a useless effort?
