I don't agree. I also use gtk on SUN+solaris and having to drag
tons of libraries to get one program running is really a pain.
In fact I do compile also the needed libraries, but keeping
everything as simple as possible can't be bad...
The minimum requirement when using unusual libraries is to
mention the dependencies before having to download anything (in LSM file...)
