You have to realise that egcs is under heavy construction. Recently, there
have been some considerable changes in the egcs C++ implementation to make
it compliant with the ISO C++ standard, and some of these changes may
break on certain platforms. Using an egcs snapshot may look cool, but it
is the same as using a development Linux kernel: if it breaks, you're on
your own.

By the way: the egcs team will release gcc 2.95 Real Soon Now (was egcs
1.2, but egcs took over gcc development), and they are looking for beta
testers on al kind of unusual platforms... (hint ;-)
