A simple question to this topic. If I have a C-array containing a
gray-level image (one byte per pixel, representing 256 gray shades),
what's the best way to bring this images into a GdkPixmap (or some other
GDK/GTK data structure so I can bring it somehow to the screen of a GTK
application)?
