I have an x86 box running Solaris 7. I was able to get glib-1.2.7 to
compile correctly, however, when I attempt to compile gtk+-1.2.7, I get
this compile time error.
make[2]: Entering directory
`/export/home/reppocs/download/src/gtk+-1.2.7/gtk'
Makefile:472: *** Insufficient number of arguments (0) to function
`strip'. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/export/home/reppocs/download/src/gtk+-1.2.7/gtk'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/export/home/reppocs/download/src/gtk+-1.2.7'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
I am configuring the package only with the option --disable-nls. All of
the other defaults are used. Can anybody give me an idea about what is
happening here? I didn't find anything that seemed pertinent in the
Makefile that it is referencing.
