Um, my tarball didn't include either a tmpl/ or a sgml/ directory.
There are some sgml files, for example the tutorial (which maybe also
should be modified), but nothing that is visibly the API reference.
And, the gtkfilesel.c code for gtk_file_selection_get_filename() has no
documentation (or comments) immediately adjacent to it.
I pulled down gtk+-1.2.8.tar.gz on July 12th of 2000.
Here's my tree structure:
emonsler hawaii:avs$ find gtk+-1.2.8 -type d
gtk+-1.2.8
gtk+-1.2.8/examples
gtk+-1.2.8/examples/aspectframe
(other directories under examples/ snipped...)
gtk+-1.2.8/examples/wheelbarrow
gtk+-1.2.8/intl
gtk+-1.2.8/po
gtk+-1.2.8/gdk
gtk+-1.2.8/gdk/.libs
gtk+-1.2.8/gtk
gtk+-1.2.8/gtk/.libs
gtk+-1.2.8/docs
gtk+-1.2.8/docs/html
gtk+-1.2.8/docs/text
Do I need the CVS tree to get documentation sources?
