I found those, the name seems to imply that it is for gimp in win32, but
obviously this is where it all happens. I will subscribe to the gimp-lists
and take the rest of the questions I have there.

I did, and I found out what you write for gcc. I just added -mwindows and
it worked. But I have more and harder questions also, just wait :-)
So far it works very very good. It is fun when everything goes so easy on
first try.
