Sort of xconsole

 Hi everybody,
         I'm trying to display a collection of messages received through
a fifo
 qeue. I want to display a range of them, including a timestamp for ech
 one, like xconsole.
 
 I've tried with gtk_statusbar, but that widget only displays one
 message. Which widget should I use?
 Any suggestion?
