Hi.

I am very new to gtk programming.
My basic task is to display the long listing of files contained in a
directory of the host machine on a button click.
By long listing ,I mean the content of ls-l <directory name>

Basically i want to know the connectivity between the button click event
to the displaying of data on a widget on the GUI.I am using the
tree-view widget for displaying the data.To be more specific,I want to
know,how I should code for the callback function for the button widget
so that It will display the contents of a given directory on the tree
view widget?
