Thanks, that does look fairly nice. However I'm hoping for something a
bit more "colorful" and perhaps something less "bulky" I suppose... The
screen will be VGA resolution and we won't have a mouse or keyboard.
Flashy GUI elements are good. I don't really care what the app does :).

As you have a broadcom.com address, perhaps Ethereal would be a good
demo program? Runs on all popular platforms. See
