Noope. No difference. I did run it again using truss (in FreeBSD) to
see
each system call and I see these under syslog:
pid 63514 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
pid 63515 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
pid 63516 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
pid 63517 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
pid 63518 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
pid 63519 (strfuncs), uid 500: exited on signal 6 (core dumped)
Somebody is dying during the building process ...

What is the size of you RAM ? and your SWAP ?
