Linux 2.6.10 (Gentoo), ~1530MHz, 768MB RAM, local display.

Initial run:

  time to load Glib 1.072: 0.712s
  time to load Gtk2 1.072: 1.036s
  time for Gtk2->init:     0.045s
  total startup time:      1.794s
     Glib built for 2.6.2, running with 2.6.2
     Gtk2 built for 2.6.2, running with 2.6.2

Typical run:

  time to load Glib 1.072: 0.018s
  time to load Gtk2 1.072: 0.053s
  time for Gtk2->init:     0.015s
  total startup time:      0.086s
     Glib built for 2.6.2, running with 2.6.2
     Gtk2 built for 2.6.2, running with 2.6.2
