"Hey, what you may want to do is find an existing Gtk2-Perl app Debian
package and use it as an example for your package's layout".

apt-cache rdepends libgtk2-perl gave me a nice list of packages that
depend on libgtk2-perl. I can give you a few suggestions from that
list:

tinyca
greenwich
podbrowser
