Yeah...  I can't use gnomemm either.  It's not that I don't want too, 
but the prof gave some little talk about how Gtkmm 2 was still a bit 
shaky and not in the field long enough.  He said it may have been 
possible to wait for RedHat binaries to come out but instead of taking 
the chance at the beginning of the smester, he said we will only be 
using Gtk and Gtkmm 1.2.  I am a bit frustrated with that, but I have to 
follow the rules if I wish to pass ( this one group project is pretty 
much the entire class).  Thanks for the advice, too bad it won't change 
the prof's. mind.
