here are the details... these are last few lines i get when i do
./configure in gtkmm(latest)...
No package 'gtk+-2.0' found
configure: error: Library requirements (sigc++-1.2 >= 1.2.0 gtk+-2.0 >=
2.2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment
variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can
find them.
Where as rpmdrake9.1(latest) shows that gtk+2.0 version 2.2.1-2mdk is
installed. The files shown by rpmdrake were
