libgnomecanvas is not available natively on win32. If you really need this 
library, you might want ot take a lot at the work of
Masahiro Sakai

Beware that these builds depend on the cygwin runtime (licensing issues). 
They are not compatible with the native gtk+ DLLs of Tor Lillqvist and with 
my gtkmm binaries for mingw.
