Hi,
I am having trouble to compile glibmm 2.4.2 with my gcc 3.3 in my slack
system.

What does "gcc --version" tell you. How/where did you get that gcc?

[ambs eremita anedotas]$ gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.3

That's strange. I would expect it to at least be 3.3.0. Anyway, there
are certainly later versions of 3.3.x, so you should try that.

It is really gcc-3.3.

It was.

Compiled it myself O:-)

Then I will leave this problem to you. I would be interested in any
problem you have with official distro gcc versions.

As far as I remember there were some similar regressions in some gcc versions
(maybe it was 3.3), which was fixed later. At least gcc-3.3.3 and gcc-3.3.4
build gtkmm without problems for Linux

Compiled myself gcc-3.4 and it compiles glibmm without problems.
Andris, thanks for not say that the fault was mine :-)

Best regards,
Alberto

Python's syntax succeeds in combining the mistakes of Lisp and Fortran.
I do not contrue that as progress.
