I don't think it's a typo, this morning I found this anouncement
concerning changes between 2.2/3/4:

Which stated as part of the changes "ComboBoxText now works, with example."
i grep'ed through the 2.2 include directories, but there's no reference
to ComboBox or ComboBoxText. Now i'm more certain it's only in 2.3/4,
but thanks for the common sense Ron ;)
So I've attempted to install gtkmm-2.4, but unfortunately that venture
is about to result in me posting another plea for help on the mailing
list...
