displaying text

Hi!
I need some help...
I have an infinite loop in where I manage images and I
want to display a short text in the window when each
iteration of the loop occurs... only a few words... it
is no necessary that old text (from old
iterations)remains in the window but the new text
replace old text...

Could anybody help me?
