In addition to this it does not tell you how the create the Makefile.am
or Makefile.in for this subdirectory!
Have you opened a bug about this yet? If you would like this
improved, the best way to keep it on our radar is to open a bug about
it.
But regarding your comments in this email, the Makefile.in is
generated from the Makefile.am by automake. Creating a Makefile.am
from scratch is not described because that would require an
explanation of the autotools, which is a bit beyond the scope of the
internationalization tutorial. Most people using gtkmm do so with
autotools, so that is what the tutorial is geared towards. If people
use other build systems and would like to contribute documentation for
doing the same thing with their preferred tools, i would think that it
would be gladly accepted and included into the gtkmm tutorial.
