Change application theme

Hello list,

I am developing a gtkmm application on ubuntu and i am wondering how to change my application theme appearence (e.g dark theme).

Also have anyone succeded to adapt the windows theme on the application after cross compiling on ubuntu to windows. I get non native colors when i run it on windows.
